The Charas is probably the rarest of all types of hashish, because of the difficulty in producing it: is produced by extracting cannabis resin. Native to India, it is traditionally made by peeling the underside of the cannabis flower while the plant is still fresh. The resin must then be scraped off and collected. This process, carried out on a live plant, gives the Charas a much more inttense cannabis aroma.
